You will participate in sports, hiking, outdoor activities and much more.

Our campus

All YES USA Summer Camp program activities take place at St. John’s University, located in a residential area of Queens, one of the five boroughs of New York City.

The nearly 102-acre campus features a stunning broad lawn, elegant stone buildings, modern student residence halls, high-tech classrooms, and a breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline.

St. John’s University is located within walking distance of the subway that connects the campus to the heart of the city. Students can easily reach major attractions in less than 60 minutes, allowing them to explore the history and vibrancy of urban life in one of the world’s most exciting and influential metropolises while enjoying the tranquility of the campus.

Meals

YES USA students benefit from a well-rounded meal plan that enhances their overall experience.

On weekdays, students can enjoy all-you-can-eat breakfast and lunch at the university cafeteria, which offers a wide variety of international cuisines. On weekends, the cafeteria offers an all-you-can-eat brunch, allowing students to get some extra sleep.

For dinners, students will mostly dine out in the city, exploring New York City’s vibrant food scene and sampling local cuisine. This culinary adventure allows them to experience the diverse flavors that the city has to offer, providing the opportunity to stay in the city until late and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Occasionally, dinners will be held on campus for convenience, such as on arrival days and during special on-campus events.

This meal plan offers students a variety of dining options, providing the convenience of on-campus meals, while allowing them to explore the diverse food offerings in New York City. By combining both, students enjoy a fulfilling experience that deepens their connection to the city.

Participants will have free access to the Internet for the duration of their stay on the university campus.

Excursions

YES USA students will enjoy a dynamic schedule of excursions in New York City, featuring three half-day and two full-day trips each week.

Our program is designed to showcase everything NYC has to offer, including iconic landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Wall Street, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Students will explore world-class cultural museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA, relax and stroll through the expansive Central Park, experience the vibrant energy of Times Square, and wander through the trendy neighborhoods of Soho and Chelsea.
